GTM Camp – Mercantour
Corsica has its GR®20, the Alpes Maritimes their GR® GTM.
The Grande Traversée du Mercantour is a real sporting challenge for experienced hikers, linking the high mountains to the sea.
They may doubt, question or underestimate themselves...
But then they'll be able to measure themselves, get out of their comfort zone, progress...
They're in for a great adventure, both human and sporting, right in the heart of the Mercantour National Park.
It's a journey on foot through wild, unspoilt nature.
The Grande Traversée du Mercantour is:
- 220 Km
- 12,000 meters of ascent
- 13,000 meters of vertical drop...
The traverse will be divided into 3 stays:

An exceptional Grande Traversée means an exceptional reward!
At each stage, a roadmap has to be stamped at the accommodation providers and at the Menton tourist office.
Once you've obtained these precious passes, you'll receive a diploma certifying your achievement!
